  • Review: Trust me that the depth of the characters and the coolness of the mythology in this series is the best of virtually any series (animated or not) that I have seen. Add to that the awesome action and fighting (including great animation much smoother than anime), and this series can not be beat!

  • Release Year: 2007
  • Review: Great characters, great action, cool weapons/vehicles/ships, cool look (3D CG with stylized toon shading), and innovative concepts/stories - all make a great series that you should not miss! Even though the animation (e.g., facial movements and running) is a little sub-par in a few instances (perhaps due to the budget), this is an extremely high quality series.

  • Review: Not only does this provide great superhero action with a nice smooth animation style, but it also has great character building and adult-focused writing.

  • Review: Another great series with compelling characters, very good action, and some interesting stories.

  • Review: Two sets of short episodes between the Episodes II and III movies which really focus on awesome action sequences (often better than the action in the actual movies) with very little dialogue, enhancing on the style of Samurai Jack.

image Legion of Superheroes
  • Review: Although the first season was pretty compelling, it was a little skewed towards the younger audience. After that, the series got more serious with cooler action and enhanced characters (both in look and powers) - with some of the coolest superhero action around!

  • Review: This show has a great variety of cool superhero action.

  • Review: Great superhero action with the biggest variety of heroes - all with cool stylings.

  • Review: Even though this does not have as much variety as its successor (Justice League Unlimited), the characters are compelling with interesting relationships and cool superhero action.
